• Where does your information come from?
• Our project information is gathered from multiple sources including press releases, company financial reports, industry journals, media sources, and company sources.
• How many projects are tracked in the database?
• Our database currently tracks 700-750 projects in the North American Oil and Gas Industry with total investment greater than approximately $25 million USD
• What types of projects are tracked?
• Project Insiders currently tracks large capital investment projects (approximately $25 million USD and over) in the Upstream, Midstream, Downstream, and LNG segments of the Oil and Gas Industry in North America.
• What should I do if I find an inaccuracy or have additional information on the project?
• If you find an inaccuracy in our project information please notify us immediately so we can resolve the issue as soon as possible. Also, if you have additional information that is not listed in our database please feel free to share it with us so that we can make it part of our database.
• What if a project is not listed in the database?
• Just because a project is not listed in the database does not mean it does not exist, it is possible we have overlooked the project. If you are aware of project not listed in our database please let us know so we can determine if it should be added.
• Who is making the project updates?
• We have a team of dedicated researchers continually researching and updating projects on a daily basis.
• What if a project does not have a contractor listed for that project?
• If a project does not list any contractors it simply means we have not found information regarding contractors for that project. It does not mean the project has no contractors working on the project.
• What if my company has provided products or services to a specific project? Can we have that information added to your database?
• Yes! If your company has received a contract to supply products or services to a specific project and you would like to make that information available to our users, send that information to us so we can add to the project.

Contact Questions

• How many contacts are listed in total?
• Our current Contacts Report exceeds 2600 individuals who are specifically associated with one or more projects in our database.
• How many contacts are listed per project?
• Each project has an average of 3 contacts, however some projects have many more while others have fewer.
• Do the contacts know they are listed in your database?
• No. Contact information is sourced from publically available sources where they have self-identified as being associated with a project.

Database Coverage

• What regions does the database cover?
• The database currently covers projects in North America which includes the US, Mexico, Canada, the Caribbean, and Central America.
• What sectors of the energy industry does the database cover?
• The database currently covers projects in the Oil and Gas Industry, including Upstream, Midstream, Downstream, and LNG.
  

   

  The Upstream portion covers onshore, offshore, oil sands, coal-bed methane/coal gasification, and shale gas/oil.
  

   

  Midstream includes all pipelines, gas gathering, gas processing, NGL processing/fractionation, rail terminals, trucking terminals, carbon capture and storage, LPG, gas storage, and crude storage.
  

   

  Downstream covers refinery new-builds and upgrades/expansions, petrochemicals/chemicals, oil sands upgrading, alternative fuels, and gas-to-liquids.
  

   

  LNG covers receiving/regasification, liquefaction and export, and LNG fueling stations.

Subscription Questions

• Can I share this information with my colleagues?
• Yes. Project Insiders is priced and sold as an enterprise wide service so feel free to share with colleagues in your company. However, please do not share this information with anyone outside of your company.
• Will we receive an update notification as soon as the information is available?
• Subscribers will receive an email update every two weeks notifying them of the updated project data available for download.
• What does my subscription provide?
• A subscription to Project Insiders provides you and your company 1 year of access to a suite of project reports created from our proprietary project database. These project reports are updated twice per month and you may access them at any time during the subscription period, download the reports, and use them as you please.
• How will I log in to the system to retrieve the project data?
• Once you have signed up and paid for a full subscription you will receive an email containing a link to the projects page where the reports are accessible. No user ID or password is required at this time.
• If I cannot get access to the database and have paid in full for the subscription, what should I do?
• Contact Project Insiders so that we can resolve this issue.
• How do I subscribe to Project Insiders
• To subscribe to Project Insiders either call us directly at 832-303-0771 or visit our Subscription page and fill in the Contact Us information and we will call you to discuss your subscription needs.
• How do we add users to our company’s subscription?
• Since there are no user IDs and passwords to access the project data, simply share the Reports Page link provided to you by Project Insiders with anyone in your company who may benefit from this information.
  

   

  You may also provide us with a list of names and emails to add to our email list and they will receive the emailed link to the Reports Page directly.
